Lasernet Mail Input Module – POP3 and IMAP are no longer supported by Microsoft for Outlook 365

Authors list

In September 2022, Microsoft announced the deprecation of Basic Authentication in Exchange Online. This process started in October 2022 and ended in January 2023.

This means Basic Authentication has been deprecated for several protocols, including POP3 and IMAP which were included in the scope.

The self-serve diagnostic is no longer available, and Basic Authentication will be disabled for all protocols.

Note

You can still use POP3 and IMAP for other mail services that support these protocols.

We have only removed the preset for Outlook 365 in the Mail Input module. As an alternative, you can use the Outlook 365 Mail module instead.
