The following table displays the compatibility details for Lasernet Connector for Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations
- The column Minimum PU Version lists the minimum update of Dynamics 365 FO that has been released.
- The column Latest validated PU Version lists the highest Lasernet FO Connector update against which compatibility has been validated.
Compatibility with Lasernet FO Connector is validated each month as part of the PEAP program. Formpipe strives to have this validation completed within three weeks after Microsoft has made a PEAP update available.
The availability described below is the Microsoft Service Update Availability. At the Preview Availability (PEAP) date, we install the MS version and test our LAC version. After three weeks of intensive testing, we will update this article to ensure the validity of the current Lasernet Connector version. If necessary, we will work on creating a new version to ensure awareness of any compatibility issues before an update from Microsoft becomes available.
It is possible to receive Microsoft updates three weeks before the available (self-update) release date as long as the customer is a part of the “First release program”. We cannot support customers who are part of the “First release program”, since we cannot guarantee quality delivery within three weeks from the Preview Availability (PEAP) date. Please see the First Release Program from Microsoft for further details.

Unless otherwise specified, there is no requirement to install a new Lasernet FO Connector package when upgrading Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations.
The Lasernet FO Connector packages are forward-compatible. The Lasernet FO Connector package PU must be less than or equal to the FO PU:
For example, if the FO version is on 10.0.31 (PU55), the FO environment can use the Lasernet FO Connector package for Update52, Update53, or Update54.
The Lasernet FO Connector packages are not backward-compatible. The Lasernet FO Connector package PU cannot be greater than the FO PU:
For example, if the FO version is on 10.0.28 (PU52), the FO environment can only use Update 52. The Lasernet FO Connector package for Update53 and Update54 will not work on FO 10.0.28 (PU52).
